Minesweeper Game Features:

The Same Minesweeper Game You’ve Always Known & Loved!

A developer who goes by the name Evgeny Karavashkin has made a portable version of Minesweeper into the mobile platform. Honestly speaking, it’s one of the best ports to ever to land on mobile. Additionally, there are currently more than 10 versions of Minesweeper including the latest Minesweeper Windows 10, the spin-off Minesweeper Coolmath and even a custom Minesweeper Javascript. Although,  nothing beats the classic layout like this one!

Easy Interface

With minimal ads and easy switching between tap mode and flag mode, this is the cleanest-looking and most player-friendly Minesweeper game in the market! The classic digital score and time are within the game too!

Unpredictable Gameplay

One of the reasons why people keep playing Minesweeper is due to its RNG (Random Number Generation) aspect of the game. That means every time you play a new game, it will be different from your previous games.

Choose from Various Difficulties

The game of Minesweeper can be overwhelming a lot of times. Fortunately, the game provides players with 3 various difficulties: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy mode counts mines up to just 4, Medium mode takes mines up to 5 and Hard mode puts mines up to 6. Just pick your poison.

You can also adjust how many tiles you want in the game. You can go with just over 2 dozen tiles or be a maniac with over a hundred tiles on the screen. Make sure you keep that yellow happy face smiling throughout the game!

Need Help? Use the Hints.

Minesweeper can be a pretty difficult and even intimidating game at times. Fortunately, the game has free hints for you in exchange for watching ads. We can guarantee you that all the hints in the game are helpful. Tips include how to flag the right spot, how to analyze the numbers, and how to determine where the next mine could be placed in.

Minesweeper Tips & Tricks:

Know your numbers & analyze the right way

Quite honestly, explaining the analytics of Minesweeper is similar to a textbook with lessons about logic but we’ll simplify it for you. All in all, Minesweeper rules never changed since its existence. But if you’re new to Minesweeper, it won’t be a surprise if you say you’re confused and overwhelmed. The numbers. What do they mean?

  • The numbers represent a bomb threat:
  • 1 means there is one mine near or beside it
  • 2 means there are a couple beside it
  • 3 means there are three present bombs and the numbers go on and so forth up to 6.
  • If you open up a blank tile, you must have seen how more tiles are opened and expanded. Blank spaces mean they are safely away from bombs.
  • If you happen to find numbers surrounding an unopened tile, it’s certain there’s a bomb in there. Flag it.

It gets trickier when the number 2 shows up as well as the numbers following it. If you’re not sure if the set of numbers will surround an unopened tile or if you really think there are bombs beside the numbers, there’s nothing wrong in flagging them multiple times. You can remove them if you’ve cleared off the other areas.

minesweeper tips

Start from the corners

This is a Minesweeper classic method; whether it’s the upper left or any of the rest of the corners, starting at those areas will establish an organized way of minesweeping for the rest of the game. This is also because it is the least likely chance of finding a bomb. This is highly recommended for beginners. Advanced players can start anywhere else.

Did you know there’s a Minesweeper World Record for the fast solvers?

Yes, it’s true. There’s even an official website housing the world’s best minesweepers. But hey, if you think you have what it takes to be in there, why not join up? Even if someone manages to get Minesweeper hacked for their personal gain, we’re sure they still won’t beat the best of the best.

Now that you know all the Minesweeper tips, we hope you can beat your own record! If you love classical games like Minesweeper, try out other nostalgic games like Pac-Man and Block Puzzle Jewel!
